Contributing “inherent value” Every Day: Social Responsibility at Ryzex

Like any business, Ryzex insists on turning a profit. But we distinguish ourselves in the way we pursue it. At the end of each day, team members are encouraged to ask themselves, “Is what I did inherently valuable?”

From the pickers on the product floors to the executives in corporate headquarters, every member of the Ryzex team is accountable to our environment and our community. In fact, the very core of our business is built on FullUse Lifecycle Support, a platform that helps keep equipment out of landfills while extending its useful business value to our customers.

Our Environment
We take our responsibilities very personally, always thinking in terms of “our” environment, not “the” environment. At our Bellingham headquarters, for example, we have successfully implemented a Zero Waste initiative that recycles approximately 250,000 pounds of material a year.
 
Our Community
Bellingham, Washington is more than a location for our headquarters; it’s a home we nurture. From children’s sports programs to blood drives, music festivals, support for young entrepreneurs and more, Ryzex is an active contributor to numerous charities and community initiatives.
